The Porsche 911 Carreras of Al Holbert/Elliot Forbes-Robinson (#14) and Hurley Haywood/Peter Gregg (#59) at the 24 Hours of Daytona in 1975.
Haywood/Gregg won the race, for the second time (1973).
Al Holbert ran and “Porsche+Audi” (as they were known at the time) dealership where I grew up.
Peter Gregg was 40 years old when he committed suicide in 1980.
Hurley Haywood won the Daytona 24 three more times (77, 79, 91), and will drive in his 40th and final one in 2012.
